This video is for awareness about the current situation in Syria. On 15th of March 2011, the Syrians started a peaceful revolution against the current regime (ruled by Bashar Al-Assad) to end oppression and poverty in Syria that has lasted for more than 40 years. To date (16th of Jun 2011) the regime killed 2,000+ unarmed civilians, detained 13,000 of those who participated in the peaceful demonstrations all over Syria. And now, more than 7,000 Syrians as refugees in Turkey.

Bouazizi, who reportedly killed himself after police seized his fruit stand, became a galvanizing symbol for unemployment and corruption in Tunisia.
